Yet another Mother’s Day in lockdown, but the future is starting to look brighter. We are currently accepting bookings for guests from Wales staying from 27th March onwards. We still hold out hope to welcome guests from England, in-line with their self-catering holiday accommodation re-opening, from 12th April.
Mark Drakeford, the First Minister of Wales, is set to review the current restrictions in Wales on 1st April, and from there, self-contained holiday accommodation may re-open, welcoming one household from England at a time from 12th April.
If you are looking to holiday with another household, the rules in England state that you will be able to do so after 17th May until 21 June 2021. After that date the restrictions, we hope, will be lifted. Fingers crossed that Wales decide to follow the same path out of lockdown and the dates described above.
So, here’s to a speedy return to normality very soon, and in the meantime Sul Y Mamau Hapus / Happy Mother’s Day from team Beaumaris Holiday Let!
