What is the International Day of Happiness?
We all need a little bit of happiness this year, and today is the day to be happy and celebrate it! The initiative started back in 2013 when United Nations proclaimed the 20th March as a day to recognise the importance of happiness in the lives of people around the world. In 2015 they then introduced 17 sustainable Development Goals which sought to end poverty, reduce inequality, and protect our planet – three key aspects that lead to well-being and happiness.
What makes you happy?
As many of us will agree, we are all so wrapped up in our own little worlds, treading the wheel each day and the only thing that seems to bring a little happiness is clicking “book” on a holiday. With the world being such a crazy place at the moment, we can absolutely understand that you may feel a little uncertain in clicking “that button” but what we can do is provide you with reassurance that we will do everything in our power to help you.
At present, for example, if you have a holiday booked up to and including 12 April that is affected by lockdown measures, these are the options available to you:
- To move your booking free of charge – please do email the dates you wish to move to
- Have a refund less the booking fee
In the meantime, we hope you have a fantastic International Day of Happiness and to help lighten the mood we have provided some beautiful snaps of Anglesey for you to enjoy!
Take care, stay safe and we hope to see you very soon.
